I've always hated the term BEL myself. The two major lines of leucistics are the Blue Eyed Leucistics and the Black Eyed Leucistics. They BOTH start with the letter B so how in the world is BEL descriptive??? It just always seemed silly to me.

I figured Blue eyes are way more common so I write them as BEL and i write black eyes as BlkEL
