Re: need help on humidity
What is your set up like? Easiest thing to do right now is mist the enclosure.

Get some moss and soak it. Put it in his favorite hide it will help you have a nice she'd

I am assuming it is a glass container with a mesh top?
If so switch to a big tote container. They are honestly the best kind of enclosure for a bp.

Ha! Best to and for you maybe.
I have two glass tanks and they work just fine.
My humidity stays in the 30s too. All I do is add moss to both hides. During a shed I soak it and place it in them. I then mist them to keep it damp throughout the shed. Once the shed is complete I will allow the moss to dry out before making it damp again.
Of course if it is a screen lid you should cover a good portion of it with foil tape, foil, etc. I made a cardboard cutout and wrapped it in foil. This keeps heat and humidity in much better.
Using those two things I have perfect sheds with little effort on my part.

Re: need help on humidity
Yeah I have glass tanks as well and get perfect sheds. Little bit of Moss, Cypress mulch, cover the screen, and mist twice a day (during shed)

Does your uth have a tstat?
That carpet is not a very good substrate for low humidity tanks. Cypress mulch works really well.

Re: need help on humidity
Is the hide too small or too big for him? I would switch that carpet to either Cypress mulch or another moisture holding substrate. Plastic wrap won't hold in humidity as well as a damp towel (I rarely even wet my towels anymore) or tin foil. Get some sphagnum Moss or terrarium Moss and you can put it in the tank. I have about two handfuls placed in various spots in my tank. I don't even bother putting Moss in the hides any more.

Damp towels on top will cause the screen to rust.
