I see no indication of it being a scaleless head. The different size scaleless look more like an injury that healed up, I bought an adult albino female that has them all over her, i'm guessing hers were from a rat. However the spot on the side looks like a paradox spot which is pretty cool.

How long have you had the male? Sadly it is not a scaleless head. Just healed scales from an injury as stated already.
Also not sure if he is a pastel or not, looks like he could be......
He does look like he has lost his color at one time. He looks pretty old and has the look of having lost his color and that it is coming back. The dark spot on the side that looks paradox is also common when the color returns to ball pythons that have lost color. Damaged scales can also grow back with that dark look.

Re: looking for adult scaleless head pictures.
This is the second post in the past week or so of people thinking/hoping they snagged a scaleless head from an unwitting dealer. I've only seen 2 ever offered for sale, they were $50,000 each. The few people who have them are not going to make the mistake of selling them for $100. You have a better chance of winning the lotto every week for a year than you do of that happening!

i got that snake for his colors, head stamp and 3 paradox patches. i just saw the messy scales. Many members mention the damaged scales but for me its not. i have another snake that i rescue with a heavy burn on the head and the new scales look much thick than normal : that snake got his injury 3 years and a half before and i guess my new boy is not even that old. on the other hand what tessadasexotic mention is very interesting : an hormonal lost of color and the dark patches are showing its color to come back. As i said i waiting clutches from him so i will keep an update.

It is fun to dream and hope for the current "1st Prize" in our hobby though.

Re: looking for adult scaleless head pictures.
not all damaged scales look the same from snake to snake just like not all scars look the same on humans. each injury heals differently on each animal. what you have is without a doubt damaged scales.
