What to do with uneaten food?
My ball has taken all his food every time but Im sure some time will come where he doesn't. I don't have any other snake to feed it to so what should I do with the mouse/rat that I thawed and offered? I have BIG fish (Oscars) that maybe I could Hannibal and feed them? I was thinking maybe either that or put them outside for the cats?

well, I could see an adult oscar eating a rat pup or smaller. but I'm basing that on size of the fish alone. haven't kept fish in nearly 40 years, so I can't really say if it's appropriate food or not. check out an aquarium forum and find out. if ok, why not.
do not refreeze the mouse/rat and re-offer it to the snake.

Okay thanks. Yeah I mean I doubt I would even want to feed my fish them since they are messy 3 pound fish. Thanks!

I live in an area with hawks and eagles.....if uneaten I chuck 'em outside and feed the birds.

Please do NOT feed them to the fish. Oscars, as you state, are very messy eaters, even with "bite size" food they get bits everywhere. With meat that will destroy your water quality (may take several water/filter changes to get it back).

I'd like to put in my recommendation for a snapping turtle. They'll eat anything and are a lot of fun especially when you've raised them from hatchlings, they really get to know you and will interact with you a lot more then other turtles I've had.

so if you raise them from hatchlings, they won't take your fingers/hand off?
