I visited my nephew's preschool class last week, for their "S" Show & Tell... brought three snakes, but Kipling the Jungle Carpet was everyone's favorite! So here's my look-alike nephew (who desperately needs a haircut, lol), showing off his snake-handling skills.

And a couple of old (4-ish years ago?) shots with my niece & bro-in-law, which I may have shared already - but may as well add them here too!

It was my first time doing that too, so I just had to wing it! Thankfully I have experience with "engaging" groups of children (as a librarian), so it wasn't too hard... and I brought along a stack of snake-related books, of course, which were handed out when I noticed their attention starting to fade.
In addition to Kipling, I also brought my pastel BP Toby, and baby Hognose Wilbur... thought they'd enjoy seeing the contrast, since Wilbur is like 10g while Kip is almost 6ft long. The teacher invited me back for some upcoming reptile week, so I'll have to figure out a good combo for that visit too. Wish I had a giant or lizard to take!
