I have a reptile heating pad under one side of the tank..will this be enough? I dont have a light yet and I was wondering if I REALLY *need* one? I live in AZ and its never really cold..

About heating.
Get a digital thermometer and find out what the temps are. If the basking area isn't around 90-95 and the cool side isn't ~ 80, you'll need supplemental heating via a lamp of whatever.

Yeah, we can't tell you if it's enough. It varies based on your weather, house temps, etc. Like Brad said, get a digital w/ probes to measure your temps and if they're not where they should be supplement with overhead heat. Red bulbs work/look nice and make for awesome nighttime viewing. Be sure to measure surface temps. And be sure your heating pad is set on a thermostat.
