    Tub size for BRB?

Looks like I may be acquiring a pair of BRBs...so, I'm attempting to learn as much as possible in a pretty short time frame. I'm struggling to find a good tub size to use for an enclosure. The current owners use a glass aquarium...but I don't like using those due to the humidity nightmare (and the fact they suck up space)...so these are adults. What size tub would you use? I swear I saw sweaterbox somewhere? But I saw someone else post pics of a regular Sterilite 66 Qt (although that doesn't give 4-6ft of floor space). I think they are in a 30 gallon glass tank now (I have no clue if they are separate or housed together).

    Any help is appreciated!

For breeder-size adults I would use 74-qt under-bed tubs until you can get something like a 36"x24" PVC enclosure. Target and WalMart both carry them. I plan on building a rack based on that tub size in a few years, but right now I only have two adults and the rest are babies and/or juveniles that fit in my 15 qt and 41 qt racks.

The "latch box" style tub will be better for keeping them secure, unless you want to build a rack for your tubs. I was planning on doing a four-high on castors, lid-on tub rack design, with space under the lowest tub for storage... but that's next year's project.

    Re: Tub size for BRB?

Ok...thank you!!! I've been driving myself nuts all day!

Yeah, I just bought a Sumatran STP a few weeks back, a Borneo STP and a Blood last week (which will ship when the weather breaks...but they are both juveys) and then these two came up...LOL! It's been like dream snakes have been dropping in my lap, but I have to play musical tubs with my snake room and my quarantine spaces LOL!
