A year old and what is his weight? As long as he is not losing a lot of gram weight and he is taking in fluids you should be alright. Yes it is normal for bps to go off food but they do so for a variety of reasons. Mainly it occurs before, during, and after breeding cycles. Especially the males. You have to double check and triple check you husbandry points though. It could be the food you are offering, several months is not a disaster. Make sure you look and listen for signs of any illness because that is crucial. Be patient and try offering prey items that are smaller but also only every 5-7 days. Immediately switch to 100% cypress mulch for starters. Good luck. Stay in peace and not pieces. A.C.
