Adorable! I wish we had a snake when my three year old was a baby. She's overly excited and attached to our BP so it's hard to get her to understand how she needs to act around him/her. She's used to playing with our shih-poo puppy.

Thanks Since Chester was very young I've been a little rough with him on occasion to get him used to it. He is now pretty fearless. He lets children pick him up and pet his head no problem! Of course all young kids don't get to spend time with him alone. Mostly they just pet him, but at least I know if they do happen to poke his face he won't react. I wouldn't go so far as to say he has been trained - but he has for sure become much more used to it. I'm glad my son is able to grow up with animals, that way he won't have any fear of them. We have snakes, cats and a tarantula. He's met them all, aside for the spider. But - he does have a toy spider that he loves a lot! When he's bigger and understanding "Sit down and put your hands out" then he can touch her. But for her safety, he can't touch her yet!
