I am moving in april and have been thinking about upgrading the size of Monty's tank since she is a growing girl.

I currently have her in a 3' long by 1' wide by 1.5' tall. Would a larger space stress her out?

If I do decide to give her a larger tank, should I put her in the new tank when I get there (my new house) or wait a little while to not stress her out too much at one time?

No, not as long as your husbandry is correct.

I have a male BP in a 7' x 2' x 2' enclosure and he is fine. Never missed a meal.

The key is to make sure your husbandry is bang on!

"She is a growing girl" is great but remember that bps really don't require a lot of space. Too much room will definitely stress her. Smaller is a better option. There is a specific dimension [lxwxh ] that is specific for all bps based on age and weight of the animal. However there is a reasonable fluctuation to those measurements and they are more so for owners who want to house their bps in rack systems. So just be reasonable and err on the side of smaller is better. Ball pythons are ambush hunters and enjoy secrecy and hiding. Stay in peace and not pieces. Good luck. A.C.

Yes, that's fine - and I agree that most do. But saying that it will definitely stress her out isn't a fact.
