not shedding?

Hey, you probably want me to shut up because of all the questions, but its hard being a new owner and having all these questions despite research. I don't want Mangle to be hurt.
Anyway, MY question is about shedding. She had cloudiness in her eyes, but its been five days and she hasn't shed yet. What gives?

I thought it must have shed. I know somebody mentioned that the odds of a new snake in shed to eat is very low so I thought since you were trying to feed it must have shed.

You need to leave the snake alone and mist it to keep the humidity up until it sheds. After that I bet it eats without issue. Until then handle one issue at a time.

A shed should start with a pink or red belly, then the eyes and skin get cloudy which is known as the blue phase. After that clears up the snake will shed in a couple to a few days. For this to all work correctly your humidity needs to be correct.

I noticed she had a bit of a pink belly when I adopted her.
I have a hard time keeping humidity with it being winter. Any tips?

You can keep some in the enclosure to increase overall humidity, but more importantly is in the hide. That will give the snake humidity and something to rub against, both helping with the shed process.

Moist moss in the hides works great.

I soak it and place it in all hides. Then throughout the shed I keep it damp by misting it when needed. During non shed times I allow it to dry out before making damp again.

I have moss in the cage. Should I just keep soaking it? Dip it in water weekly?

Placing it in the hides does much more than just having it in the cage. Your snake stays in the hide most of the time to having the moss in the hide with the snake benefits the snake much more.
