Potty Question
How long does it usually take for them to defecate? My bp was fed Wednesday so tomorrow is feeding day again but he hasn't defecated yet. Is that abnormal?

Nope. But younger ones seem to go more frequent.

My adult goes during shed, so every 51-60 days when not fasting. Every now and then, a little bit in between sheds.

Not absolutely sure but I think it would depend on how much they consumed in a previous feeding. Also what the consistency of the prey item or items were. Of course more fluid items would be expelled more quickly, solid items less so. Overall you have to take in the nutritional status of the reptile also. Was he or she previously dehydrated or in poor health? Make sure they always have plenty of fresh water. Enjoy. Stay in peace and not pieces. A.C.

Thanks =)
He was at a Petsmart before I got him so I really don't know his health condition prior to my ownership. He always has fresh water. I think he just finally got comfortable here today because he's been out and about, which he hasn't done much in the past 10 days (that's how long I've had him). Tomorrow's feeding time so I'll see how it goes! Thanks all!
