    mitchs new home

Well Ozzy finally refused a meal.
This would have been 5th rat and he was having none of it ( 5th as in since changing over from mice)
Last week it took over 20 min of the "dance" which I had never had to do.

He ate great day after in his new cage then last week took some time and now nothing.
I can't figure out why. He has always from day one been a great eater.
Lower the rodent into the box and he would nail it before it got all the way down .
I even waited an extra day.
So I guess I should wait until next Monday before I try again ?
I just hope nothing is wrong with him. He seems fine, I guess, how can ya tell?
He was just starting to thicken up to

Man, mines been doing that for awhile now. He's been putting about a month to a month and a half between feedings starting around early April. I offer weekly, but he won't take it until he's ready. Relax, everything's fine most likely.........males are notorious for this
My advice is to just wait until next week's feeding time and try again. If he doesn't eat it wait again.
Always assuming you have the temp of the body right if you're feeding f/t.......that can be tricky but you've been successfull so far which could mean he's just decided to slow down for awhile. As long as he's not getting skinny or showing signs of malnutrition I wouldn't worry. He'll eat when he's hungry.
Doesn't it just bug ya tho? :?

    Health issue?

Yes, this will drive me crazy.
He is kinda skinny and was just starting to plump up. Oh well, I will just try every week and hope for the best
    Thanks!
