Humid Hide Examples

When you make a humid hide out of a gladware container like that, do you have a problem with plastic fragments on the edges of the hole you cut? I've tried to make one, but when I cut the plastic I worry that it might harm my snake if he rubs against it the wrong way. Also, how big do you cut the hole?

I cut the hole with a pair of scissors, then I took a piece of sandpaper and smoothed the edges of the hole.
