    humidity my way

    Ultrasonic humidifier- $40 at target
3/4 pvc crap and a valve- $25 at lowes
    Timer- $5.99 at target
    4inches of 3/4 pipe insulation- $2

I call it my "fog machine"
The humidifier was a little elephant it was cute...
Remove the elephant top and insert the insulation and your pipe. Make it removeable so you can refill the canister...

Its very important that its an ultrasonic. As they make "mist or fog" instead of crappy hot air. The valve was so i can balance my system as the mist will take the path of least resistance first. But it does my fire belly toad viv and ball tank both. Both are 40g breeders. The humidifier runs an hour 4x daily.
The know adjusts the fog rate
Important: depending on your lid you will notice a 5-10degree temp drop as its Cool Mist. So its best piped to your cool side. I was going to do a diy eventually... grows moss like a boss too btw....
