Makes it difficult though because I will be leaving this Sunday for a trip for my job and won't be returning till the following Monday and I know no one else here will even try to interact with him. Should I attempt a feed this weekend or just wait till I return?
He will be fine, in fact he will probably enjoy the extra time alone. Remember that it's a snake not a dog and they can quite happily live their lives without handling. I would personally wait to feed, by the sounds of it he's pretty stressed and likely won't eat anyways.
