If they really bother you take the substrate out and bake it. It will kill them all. They are in your substrate when you buy it so every time you add substrate you are in fact adding more mites. You may also seek a different source or brand of substrate. I use cypress and while I have seen these they have never been enough to cause concern.Originally Posted by se7en
