Ball python with RI, what about the others?
A few weeks ago I bought a new ball python to add to my collection and this afternoon while feeding all my snakes, I noticed this new one has slime coming from his mouth. Oh great... I can make him a vet appointment on Tuesday, Monday is a long weekend.
That is not the issue, on Thursday I had a photo shoot with my snakes. He was in with about 5 of my other snakes. At the time he no signs that I noticed of him having an RI.
What are the chances of my other snake getting it and if this is the case, do I have to make 6 different appointments and get 6 different medications?
I also want to mention that I have never had to deal with a RI.

You didn't quarantine him?

I would start off by bumping the temps of all your other BPs by a few degrees just as a precaution and then watch them for a week or so. If they don't show any signs, then you can back off the temps back to normal.

If the sick one is in the rack or in close proximity (same room) with the others then they've been exposed. Bump their temps 85-95*F and keep them well hydrated.
The sick one needs to be isolated immediately if he isn't already, bump temps and humidity similarly. Always clean him after seeing to the others, then go shower. He also needs his own equipment - feeding tongs, spray bottle, etc.
QT should be at least 60 days for new arrivals, I do 90, I know some folks with boas who do six months.
