"window" shopping ( dial-up warning )

Andariel and I went to the All Maryland Reptile Show yesterday outside of Harve de Grace MD. I went with the purpose of just looking .. i kept promising myself not to buy .... but you know what happened. I'd like to introduce my new pair ... Sphinx and Sway.

Sway

Sway is an 04 female. I bought her as a high gold, but i'm not too convinced. She's gorgeous anyway




She went into her rubbermaid and immediately went into hiding. I'll leave her alone for a week and see what happens. So far she seems tolerant of handling, but she is headshy. We'll definitely work on that.


Sphinx

Sphinx is an 03 possible het for piebald male, a bit bigger than Andy, and i can already tell the difference between wc Andy and cbb Sphinx. He has obviously been taken pretty good care of, and is tolerant of handling. This is what he looked like when i got him out of the bag ....



Then he got a little more comfortable with us and decided to explore an arm and you can see his pattern decently here ....



Then I let him down on the floor and WOW ... check him out ....


He crawled around for a while while i got the rest of his rubbermaid setup. The first thing he did when he got in his home was take a nice big drink ....


All in all i think i made out ok . Even if he does not turn out to be het for anything but bp ... i'm very happy. These pics do not really do either of them justice, they loose something in the resize.

Wow... a Pie het. Piedbald can produce some awesome morphs, including itself ^_^

I think Pie can also produce blue lucies, but im not sure.

Carson, this is exactly why I am so scared about goin to the reptile show in Buffalo once September rolls around! I know that at that point i won't have the room or the money for a new snake but I know that I am gunna want every little boy & girl that I run across!! Here is to hopin that I can stay strong!

Those two, regardless of genes, are beautiful little Ball Pythons! You are very lucky to have them & congrats!!

They are beautiful!! I would be very scared to go to a reptile show just for that reason. I have hard time not buying when I go to the reptile store.

I'm upset.. he wouldn't let me come home with the Afrock baby I saw and held that I wanted to buy... lol... prolly best for right now anyways till I get in the new place. They are some GEORGOUS pythons tho, I'm very jealous
