That thermometer dial and the hygrometer dial should be on the bottom of the terrarium because that's where your BP spends most of it's time. Right now you're measuring the temperature at the top of the terrarium which doesn't really help you because warm air rises.
I'd recommend getting a digital thermometer and hygrometer all together because those dials aren't very accurate.
You should get something like this or something similar:

I used the other gauge from the old tank. There is a monitor on the top and bottom now
They are plugged into a surge protector

Re: changed the tank.
Just be aware that changing their tank can make them feel the need to settle in all over again - each snake is different in this regard but I had one that took two weeks to recover when I moved his tank to the other side of the room with no internal changes.

Re: changed the tank.
well, she is crawling around. Im not sure how to know when they are ready to be handled. How do I know?
She's only been with me for a day, but I don't want to stress her out too much.
I lost one ball python due to a heart condition (a neonate) and I don't want to lose another one.
Heres another pic:

I posted this on your other thread. Take a read through this http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-With-Pictures!

If you've only had the snake a day or two, she's probably still in the settling in phase. If you have your parameters right, give her about a week minimum without handling or much bothering to get herself squared away. If she seems chill after that, you can start SHORT (about 10-15 minutes) handling sessions. Also remember not to handle her for at least 48 hours after she's eaten, or you'll get that rat back in a rather unpleasant manner!
