getting ball python used to me via shirt??

Oh ok, I was looking at a young female lesser from the reptile shop up there but she got snatched up so I thought maybe you were the one I needed to yell at For mites, you might want to order or buy Provent-a-mite or Reptile Spray. Think Petco has Reptile Spray. You then want to spray down pretty much the whole room your snake was in. Get the table or whatever the cage was on, the carpet around the cage, any drapes or even furniture. Luckily I've never had to deal with mites but im OCD. I've talked to people who have and its a pain especially if you got more than one reptile. Also I would switch to paper towel substrate until you get the mites taken care of. Much easier to spot mites on white paper towels and even easier to keep the paper towels changed. Good luck.

Its a snake, As much as you want it to love you, get use to you it wont, It'll recognize you, and tolerate you. Im not saying they dont know, like all animals they each have personalities, MY SD retic(though i belive they are much smarter then the normal bp) Will come to me when i open cage, anyone else itll huss and fuss. BUT best advice, just pick her up with confidence dont give her time to react, and when holding her, let her go where she wants. Dont try to manipulate her.
