When picking humidifier a lot comes into play.. Size of room.. If cold air returns are in the room.. I run a style that puts steam out.. The tank on it is small but raises humidity a ton in a 15' x 15' room. It's a sunbeam one from Walmart.
edit. Also makes room warmer and the space heater doesn't run as much
