    Big Suprise

So. To begin, my mother and step dad have an amazon emerald tree python. Well, they thought a few green anoles would be nice. Man were they wrong. One maaaaaad.... irritated.... restless snake. So i wound up with 2 green anoles....

Months later I purchased 3 more and have a successful harem.

Well this morning. Found this in my tank and promptly snipped the plastic leaf and set up an incubator! Im super excited. Ill post pics of my anoles and tank setup later. Heres the baby!!!!

These little guys are alot of fun! Slightly psyco because of how hyper they are, but alot of fun The wood is all real. But the plants in this one are all fake. In process of making a new 55g planted tank. Making a diy but figured itd be better saved until completion of the habitat... heres a peek so far.

Haven't had anoles in years, they actually my first lizards. I had 2 male and female.

Super cool setup, bet you'll never find them in the new set up

Lol i iearned the hard way about males... Their pushups are hillarious... Every time my kid sees them with dewlaps out she yells "BEEFCAKE!" priceless... The little guys really are a good cheap beginner pet. They are highly active and interact socially. Better than watching tv. But in the same hand they will eat you out of house and home man. Veracious eaters they are, between the 5 green anoles and 2 long tail grass lizards devour about 60 crickets every day or so. Whew.... Know it before you buy/try

By the way: housing different species of anything takes alot of hard work, alot of dedication, and knowledge.... health issues, feeding habits, natural viruses and pecking order... God i could go for days. Anyways i spent a year talking to local breeding people, herp societies, and booking it up before i even considered this. Anyways, not by any means to be tried by a novice and is sometimes daunting for a intermediate keeper.
