This is a good way to determine what your chances are when breeding snakes. Since you don't care what type of het you are getting, I just chose a male that is het for albinism, and a normal female (which you have). When mated, you get.... ALL NORMALS, with 50% being het for albino, meaning they are still NORMAL, but MAY produce albinos when bred together.
You can lead a horse to water, but I don't think it will do a darn bit of good. Having said that, here's a better option to illustrate your point:
Male: |
Normal |
Female: |
Het Albino |
Percent |
Fraction |
Traits |
100% |
1/1 |
50% Possible Het Albino |
|
OP: The most likely reasons for her size are: 1) developing follicles, and 2) food. The first is likely because she is an adult female and environmental changes this time of year, combined with the fact that she's living with a male, tend to trigger follicle growth. The second is likely because she just ate 5 days ago - that meal hasn't worked through her system yet.

First off, I'm far from the only one talking about your other threads, since this is pretty much the same question you've been asking. Not sure why you took so much offense to my comment, considering everyone is telling you the same thing. The main topic of your thread was the increase in size of your female; Like you've been told by others, this is probably not related to breeding based on the fact that she's been with a male for five years and probably is not suddenly gravid or preparing to mate.
If you don't want answers, don't ask questions. People have been trying to help you, you just won't listen.

Or you can save up and buy some visual morphs instead of wasting time with breeding a het anything to a normal female.
By the time you finally get to the morph you want to end up with, you would have invested enough money in caging/food/proper husbandry/ incubators/whatever else you need for them, you would have been able to buy a Nissan GTR instead of just a down payment.

I don't think the Nissan dealership would appreciate a $500 down payment on a $100,000 car.

took offense because this is a NEW POST on a new thread and YOU sir, were the first one to jump off topic... NOBODY know what happened to me in MY life so the smart remarks need to come to a STOP, if someone's family or relative suffered from a FATAL car accident and ended up with a TBI how would you feel if a forum was creating a hard time for that person..??? SO IF YOU AVE NOTHING NICE TO SAY, THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING...

Jeez, calm down. First of all, what happens in your life in the real world has NOTHING to do with how people treat you on this forum. I could be suffering from some fatal disease; does that mean you should treat me any differently on a forum where I ask questions about snakes? No, because those things are completely unrelated.
I haven't said anything insulting to you, nor have I made any 'smart remarks'. (Also, check back, I'm actually not the first person who referenced your other threads... which were so similar they have now been merged). I have disagreed with you and told you that your reasoning was faulty. That's not personal, nor is it contrary to the purpose of the forum.

And to make sure that you understand based n your previous thread relating to having a hard time financially
Possible Hets sell for the price of normals if they sell. I have been doing this a while and normals and possible hets are either free to good home or sold as wholesale group.
If you plan on holding back the females to breed back to dad by the time you house and feed X amount of those animals there will still be no guarantees that you will produce a visual down the road as none may prove out.
The important things to take in consideration when breeding even more so in YOUR situation.
Basic Genetic knowledge
Cost of breeding, incubator, rack to house the hatchlings individually, electricity bill, food x X number of animals for X number of weeks or months. You will not break even by breeding normal or het to normal (Breeding is expensive I have spent the first 2 years in the red when I started)
