Is it normal for a BP to move around after feeding?

My BP just ate a f/t medium size mouse and instead of going to his hiding box its exploring around. Is it normal behavior? Shouldn't he go rest right after eating?
It's also digging its head into the substrate. Should i be worried? Like it's trying to bury itself in the substrate

They don't always go back into their hide after eating ... Most of mine do but I have a normal male (my go to guy) that will sit at the front of his tub afterwards and watch as I feed everyone else hoping that someone doesn't eat so he gets the leftovers lol (hes a hoss at a lil over 5ft.) .... Out of curiosity how big is your snake? Is it possible he was looking for another mouse? I only feed rats to my balls, so a mouse hopper/young adult almost sounds to me like it might be looking for another unless it's a really young snake .. then this size feeder would probably suffice. But as long as the lump moved down it's body and to it's stomach I see no reason you should worry ... Probably just being explorative

Burying themselves in substrate is normal.

How big is the snake and how big is the mouse? It's possible the food is too small so he's looking for more when he keeps looking around.

The snake was 74g a week ago. I'm gonna weigh it again the first. The mouse was I think a perfect size for him and also he ate last Saturday, but he was being pretty active and it got to the attacking position a couple times so I figured I'd feed it again

Food size sounds right so I think it's just an activity thing. My Coral Glow always cruises around his tub after taking a meal, so does my Fire and my Butter, but most of my others will go right to their hides to settle in.

Food size sounds fine. Maybe he's just one who likes to poke around a bit.

I wouldn't get in the habit of feeding him just because he looks hungry, though. Set a schedule and feed according to that. It'll prevent you from overfeeding him at some point.

Thanks for the advice feeding time is usually on Saturdays but read that young pythons can be fed every 3-4 days

You can. My babies get fed on weekends and wednesdays until they're around 100g at which point I switch them to once a week. Others keep feeding 4 or 5 days for much longer.
