Could use some help / advice

Okay so my new baby went into the blue on the 18th, he was out of the blue by the 23rd but has yet to shed. He is very dry and wrinkled feeling.
He is new to us and I have been struggling with the humidity in his tank so I know that is the issue and I am working on it (going to get some moss this weekend, until then i spray his tank at least 2x a day)
My question is this, how long should I wait before stepping in to help him? I did give him a quick soak in a bath today to see if that helped but he is not making any effort at all to shed unless we are holding him and then he will run himself through our fingers. When in his tank he just lays in his hide.

Is there anything in your tank with a nice texture to it? Like a fake stump or something of the sort? Also what kind of bedding do you use?

While it may be a pain in the but its good to moisten the substrate under your hides. it helped my baby when i just had aspen bedding.
Youll usually need to clean the tank after a shed anyways.

Seen some people get a seperate plastic tote. Put a small uth with a towel over it. Then put damp paper towels and a hide in there. Again something with good texture helps. But they keep this process for a few days with the moist paper towels and heat and it greatly aids shedding.

Try not to soak him, just keep the humidity up, provide rough surfaces for
Him to rub along, cork bark logs etc..

You could also try running him through a warm damp wet towel and apply minimum pressure.

Just keep the humidity in the 70-80s, provide a humid hide with some moss in this could help.

Be patient. Just put some damp moss in his hide and let him do the rest. If he's in a glass enclosure, he'll use the glass to take off the shed.

Yes he has logs and his hides rather rough on the edges and we use aspen bedding.

You could always try a more humid substrate.
