I haven't had any issues with my glass tank as far as humidity and temps go. But my weekly cleaning takes about an hour to an hour and a half. The bulk of the time comes from boiling and squeezing the water out of the substrate.

I never bothered with trying to figure the tub system out of fear of the light or UTH melting it.
