    is this scale rot??

So I have been having some real issues with my humidity. I've tried covering the vent on the cage, but it either drops to low or goes to high. So I'm a little worried I may have been over spraying, and caused this

Does this look like scale rot?

It looks like the beginning of scale rot. Get some betadine and make it like a very weak tea and apply it to the snake's belly, or you could soak the snake in the betadine also. What kind of substrate are you using? Scale rot usually happens when the substrate is to wet.

Ok I've done some research. If I can't find it in stores, or on amazon (would have it shipped as fast as possible) is there anything else I can use?
Also how long do I need to use this stuff for?
I know I won't see any improvement till next shed, but should I stop using it before she goes into shed

You should be able to get betadine at Walmart or Target I think.

I've checked shoppers, they don't care it. Now I'm gonna go check every pharmacy I can find hahaha. I don't have a target close to me, but if I have to I will go to one.

It may also be called Povidone-iodine. Same chemical, different name if I'm not mistaken.

Ok I've managed to find betadine, after 6 pharmacies. Apparently its not very popular around here. How ever I could only find it in 100ml bottles, and they won't have any till tomorrow.

Will I need more then that? If so I will have to order it on amazon, and get some from the IDA till more order would get here.

Will I need anything else like poly sprain?
