Help, new ball python owner; snake in odd position
http://nafowler1.tumblr.com/post/108900210005Please see pic. Had him about 6 weeks. He stopped eating week 3 but he ate Tuesday. The pics aren't great but can take more if this is concerning. Otherwise he has been normal. This is second night he is doing this.

First of all, welcome to the forum. Secondly, welcome to owning a Ball Python. They get into weird positions so there's definitely nothing to worry about. Sometimes they go off food for weeks if not months so no worries there as well. Most important thing is to double check your husbandry to make sure everything is on point.
Tell us a little bit about your setup. How do you heat the enclosure for example? What do you use to measure ambient temperature and humidity?
Check out the following threads. One is a general BP care sheet and the other one is how to setup a glass enclosure.

Definitely going to need some better pictures ... Can't enlarge them to really even see them they are like tiny little thumbnails ... From what you say I would think that it is possibly some kind of change in the husbandry (environment) and that is the spot in the enclosure that your snake feels most comfortable right now .... Some better pictures of your set up and some info as far as what your temps, humidity, and method of heating is would allow us to help a lot more

Welcome to the forum Nafowler. And to BPs!
Many times there is no reason at all for a certain position. Sometimes it may be to feel secure. Or they may be trying to warmup or cool down a certain part of their body.
Now let me ask you a question. Why do you sometimes lean with your back against the wall with one foot on the ground and one foot against the wall?
I'll tell you, Because It's Comfortable!!
