WOW that's a ridiculously gorgeous pair !! I hope she produces for you!!
It's tough to really tell without knowing her current shed and feeding cycle. If the male is still trying, I'd keep pairing.
Hopefully more experienced breeders chime in !

How long are you leaving the male in for? To me it looks like you are opening the bin and photographing as the male is attempting to line up. You may be distracting them too much. Try just once leaving the male in for 3 days without disturbance. Meaning do not go into the room, past the tubs, and certainly not open the tub. Check the tub on day 4. If they are lined up but not locked, check back 12 hours later. If they are separate then remove the male. Pop him after to see if he has bred/ Has the female paired before? They may need one long pairing to get them started. I had one pair this season lock at 48 hours and stay locked past 72 hours. I was finally able to remove the male on day 5 after they were clearly separated. Sometimes you have to bend the rules and go by what the animals are doing instead of the textbook standard.

Re: A Bit Frustrated
I'm not too much help in this area but I just had to say this pairing is gorgeous! I know the female is a hypo enchi but what is the male? He's a real stunner. I hope this pretty lady produces for you too. The offspring should all be absolutely beautiful

Smart I should've checked the sig lol. But that girl should definitely prove she had me fooled! Haha she's got that hypo glow to her already. That's super exciting. Hope they keep us updated.

Just give them time. They will do what they need to do when the time is right. That's what I keep telling myself . I had a male that I've been trying to get going. He finally figured it out. I believe the little guy would breed a stick, if it smelled like a female. Now He even gets aggressive, when I remove him from the females tub. Just give yours time. I know it's hard.

H00blah is correct with the i.d.'s, although she has a definite hypo look to her. I guess I will keep pairing, trying to leave them alone as much as possible. Fortunately, I have three other females that are around 1200 grams, so maybe in a few more months I'll have an easier time with them.
