So I adopted Ramona last week, and the reptile rescue guy that I adopted from said that she's a good eater, and will eat 2 or 3 mice at a time. I fed her on Sunday, and she only took one. I thought she looked hungry yesterday, so I offered one and she ate it lightening-fast. I offered another and she ate that just as quickly---and she was still looking for more!
So that's three mice so far this week. I know that they can take a while to digest, so I'm not giving any more now. Also, I think she needs to switch to rats, but I still have 3 frozen mice left. (THere are pics of her on the pic board).
I don't want to make her sick, but she seems hungry! Advice? (this is my first bp, by the way)
Thanks! Dana and Ramona, too

Dont go with too much too fast
A couple of mice at a time is ok... more than two is pushing it a little in my opinion. A rat would be better for the snake too. Wait 7 days.... feed two mice. Then go to the pet store and buy a rat (probably a rat fuzzy) that is the same size as the mouse. When it's time to feed again offer the mouse first then offer the rat. The next feeding in seven days try feeding one rat that is equal in size to the thickest part of the snake.
Look, sometimes bad things happen, and there is nothing you can do about it, so why worry?
