    Flaking skin

Hi all! I'm posting out of concern for my ball. I bought him on Saturday from a reptile expo in Portland, OR. Even before buying him, I noticed very faint differences in color on some patches of his skin. Small amounts of flakey scales are around the edges of these patches, as well. Is there anything I can do to help him? Is this a sign for a possible health risk?

Pictures to follow (when it is daytime). Thank you!

Will be much easier for us to help once you have posted pics.

Looks like stuck shed to me, get a damp warm towel, let the snake slide through the towel apply minimum pressure and hopefully it should come off check there is no stuck shed on the tail/eye caps.

Thank you so much! I'll update tonight on if it was successful, once he pokes his head out of his hide.
