    New additions!

I just got back from a reptile expo, and of course that means I came back with something. Well... actually, it's two somethings. I apologize in advance for the cruddy photo quality, haha.

The first one is a female bumblebee het red axanthic. She's absolutely incredible! I knew I needed to have her the moment I saw her. The stunning black contrasting against the pale cream color... the dark greenish eyes... well, seriously, who could possibly resist that? To top it off, she's super sweet! Awesome personality. It's impossible not to love her. The picture doesn't show it all that well, but she has an adorable black spot on the tip of her nose. It makes her look like a puppy.

The next girl, who didn't want to come out of her container or have her picture taken, is a cinnamon fire. She's... well... sassy. When I handled her at the show, she immediately went zooming off. Caught me by surprise, that's for sure! I wasn't sure whether I liked her or not, but she claimed me. After holding her for a bit, she wrapped around my elbow and refused to move. I couldn't get her off, so I slid her down to my wrist. I still wasn't having any luck, but I eventually got her put back. I came back to hold her again later, and she did the same. I was about to take her off again, but she gave me a look that clearly said, "Yeah no. You are sooooo not taking me off your arm again." I was trying to decide between her and a pastel, but I guess I had no choice in the matter! She wasn't fond of being put in the container to take her home, but then again, she didn't want to come out, either. Really loving this girl!

So far neither of these girls have names, but I'll be getting around to that as I get to know them better.

Love the cinny fire! Cinnies definitely have attitude problems . Good luck with your new babies!

Haha, thanks! Looking forward to getting to know these two and watching them grow.

Have to say, the pattern on the bumblebee is just how I like spiders. Nice and even with bold markings. Has some weird squiggly lines on her in places, which is pretty cute. I was considering a spider for my first snake, but ended up getting something else. I'm pretty excited about having a snake with the gene, though!

My friend (non-reptile person, came to the expo with me), said the cinnamon fire was "fiery" after I told her the genes... Major facepalm moment, but she's right! Little cinny has some fire! (can't believe I just typed that)
