    Sheding

    Hi I'm new to here so hi everyone . Was a little confused because I thought my boy was shedding he's two months old and he's going through all the signs but not having the clouding over his eye caps ? It's been over two weeks now is he shedding ? Can't work him out . He's so lovely and let's me stroke his head yawns after too and I can put my hand in his viv & hide and he's cool just chills there ... All temps correct & humidity is right very happy snake .

    He was going a blue tinge and then really dull but he's sides where still bright then he really went opaque and stayed in his hide all day when he's normally out but now it's like he's colours come back and he's gone from sleeping in his hide to sleeping outside of it ha lol I'm confused ? Was this a fantom shedding lol .. Thanks x

    They do clear up for a few days after going opaque before they actually shed. How long has he been cleared up for now?

    About two days .. But his eyes never went blue or cloudy ? Strange . He's defo due a shed haha.. Bless him ..
    I have him out all the time so I'll check him in the morning thx u I'll get back to u tomoz if that's cool? ..

    Just make sure humidity is where it needs to be. Some extra misting would be fine, as long as it doesn't get soaking wet in there.

    Also, don't try to give him a bath or anything before he sheds. Doing so will actually wash away the fluids he needs to shed properly, making it really difficult for him to get rid of the old skin.

    Hi he's dull and I think he's eyes are a little to . He's really active .. Feeding him Sunday so I'll guess I'll just wait and see

    Once his eyes go clear it can take a day to a few days until he sheds. I find that mine usually shed within 2 days of going clear. The whole shedding process usually lasts a week.
