Help me with my collection (not selling)

OK So I just got started in the hobby and got bit by the bug. I just purchased 5 snakes and I am curious of their worth to compare to what I paid. I feel I got a good deal and in the end that is all that matters but more so id like to compare it to what I feel their worth to gauge my understanding of the marketplace. I AM NOT SELLING anything. These are family pets.

Bought these off a guy who basically neglected them. They were in a rack system with eco-earth that was BONE DRY and smelly. The Banana/Coral Glow likely has a resp infection and had eco earth in her mouth and has a vet appt tomorrow.

I paid 600 for everything and I understand due to their neglect will likely have medical bills in the future and that is fine. I saved a life and my kids like them. I changed all substrate got the humidity where it needed to be and disinfected everything. If there is anything else I should do please comment

    (1) Rack System Home Made holds 8 tubs
    (1) Scale and other misc supplies, water bowls hides etc
    Vivarian 300 Thermostat
Flex watt on all of the racking where it needs to be
    (4) tubs

    1.0 Piebald ~1200g
0.1 Het Piebald (possibly pregnant I see lumps in her stomach and he has been locking the 2 together) since she is pregnant I have limited me touching her thus no weight but she is BIG
    0.1 Pewter ~840g
    0.1 Lesser ~800g
1.0 Banana or Coral Glow(picture below I cannot tell the difference) ~900g

Also being new I am still learning good morph combos. What would be some youd suggest to get to compliment my collection?

Thank you. (the photos are from the seller you can see how dry the eco earth is)

It looks like a nice collection. Besides getting the one snake checked out for a possible Respiratory Infection, it seems that you may have a possible gravid female. I would recommend reading up on some of the threads in the "Breeding" section to prepare for a potentail clutch of eggs. Your options are pretty much to buy/build your own incubator, possibly find a breeder near you who might be willing to help out, or letting her maternally incubate the eggs. Either way, you should have a plan in place. Good Luck...

woot looks like I will be a daddy, do they make ITS A SNAKE! cigars? I am not handy at all so I will just shell out the 150ish for an incubator especially since these are piebalds seems worth the investment. any recommendations?

um...unless the one snake has that rare RI, I'd say you made out like a bandit.. From everything listed you could have paid 3-4 times as much and it would still be a good deal. If the female is prego that's a bonus. Also, if you want to sell me one of those pied babies for an exceptionally low price, we could both celebrate ...lol Congrats on the purchase. Can't wait to see pics of those babies!

i cant figure out how to edit my post lol but that eco earth was naturally darker then the other stuff I had. when I got them it was late at night and I had to get what I could with what I had and took from my hermit crabs(long gone) and rinsed it thoroughly and it was middle level they nevr borrowed that deep. I still think its too damp

plus the moron never put air holes in the tub(1 of the 4). GF was like how do they breathe and im like thru the air holes and shes like what holes? and im like OMG WTF

Is the female that the Pied male is in with in that picture the same female that you think is pregnant?

Looks like you got a deal.... The coral glow could easily be 4-500 by itself

Yea shes a 100% het pied knocked up by the pied male. She shows signs of being gravid. Doesnt move. Ever. Lumps on her belly. So i gotta start looking at incubators BUT the dude didnt take care of them so i wouldnt be surprised from the initial stress that she drops some slugs. Hopefully not.

And i i got back from Vet. Coral glow has an RI and got injections every 3 days for a while. Other then that. No mites and healthy and active and in shed.

But it will not take F/T. None will since dude only fed live and I hate rodents. GF is gonna have to feed it while i run around screaming for joy

Any tips to get them on FT?
