Thanks for the advice kylearmbar! I did notice they locked up at least 5 times, the longest being 12+ hours. Next time I will remove afterwards.

I did notice that when I took the male out he was all twiching, and they both looked very hungry. They seemed upset I was removing them from each other haha.
