I did a dumb yesterday, and got nailed as a result. We went to the Pittsburgh Reptile Show yesterday. I was getting feeders. Or thats all I planned to get. I ended up walking out with a pair of blood pythons **squee**.

So last night as I finished setting up their tubs, and put the water bowls in I noticed that Fetch, the female, had some substrate on her nose.

Without thinking I reached over to brush it off. The poor thing thought I was going to kill her and went on the defensive. She hit once, then a second time. I apologized to her for scaring her(I talk to the snakes all the time, they probably think I'm crazy... They might be right), made sure her water dish didn't get knocked over, then put the tub away and went for some band aids.

Here is Fetch. I feel bad for scaring her.

And here is the result of my dumb move.

And here is Cole, who, despite being blue eyed and ready to shed, seems a bit more laid back than Fetch.

Hubs got this guy, supposedly het albino. He named him Jansen.

And yes, the new snakes are quarantined away from the rest of the collection.

Today my three normal breeder females arrived (purchased from Deborah Stewart from here). I didn't sleep at all last night knowing they were en route. Eventually they will be put with my Blade, Sid (at least one will) and possibly down the road for another project that is still being shaped in my head. ANYWAYS, here they are;

Edea(was Norma, but I couldnt find a final fantasy character named Norma)


Pandora (Love this name, couldn't change it). When hubs was looking at her, she decided that his beard must be a rat and she struck at him. He apologized for scaring her.


And the possible het hypo who has been named Aerith


Now i've got one goldblush mojave on hold and then the foundation stuff for my breeding plans will be complete!!! (mwahahaha **cough cough**)

And Jenova shed last night and is fricken gorgeous!
