If the seller doesnt know then you REALLY need to find someone that does.
I would not buy from any breeder that didn't know what he/she had.

Whatever it is, it's a nice looking snake. Especially given the stripe down it's back. Is the line fairly straight and uninterrupted?

Looks a lot like a Nuclear (Lesser Fire). I agree with not buying any thing from a "breeder" who has no clue what they're doing.

Re: Not Able to know the correct Gene
SO much work and money goes into breeding ball pythons and making a business of selling them that the people doing it MUST have, at the very least, a very decent idea of what genes they're working with and what those genetic combos look like. Even someone not into breeding, but just buying and selling for a profit would have to know what they're buying in order to know how to make a decent profit.
A guy with that many high-dollar morphs and no idea what they are?? Screams stolen snakes to me.

That is a Nuclear (Butter/Lesser x Fire).
I'm guessing you either bought a stolen snake, or bought from a flipper. Please link us to their ads

So...you knowingly bought a stolen snake and you don't care? So far as I'm concerned, that's as bad as being the thief yourself. Someone out there had their HOME or building broken into and years worth of work and money, not to mention the emotional attachment to live animals, STOLEN from them....and you're gleeful about getting one of them into your collection???
