    Re: How long to shed?

My young female took around a week to do her complete shed. She was just hanging out in her hide, all glazed-eyed looking, and not doing anything. Eventually she came out on her own, made a poopy/urate mess (huge, too!) and was spectacular looking. I looked in the hide and was greeted with a beautiful, one-piece shed. It was quite amazing - complete head-to-tail except for about a quarter inch on her tail that came off later that night. It seemed to take forever and I was a bit worried but since then she has been mostly herself-likes coming out to explore. I tried to feed her the next day but she wasn't interested so I'm waiting for another couple days to retry. She has also been hanging out around and under her water dish which is a bit odd.

    Re: How long to shed?

Yeah mine has the odd drink but never hangs out near the water bowl, he went blue then cleared up, and it's been a week since he cleared up now! And has just lost his old skin on his nose area and that's it. I was waiting till he had shed to feed him but I offered tonite and he was straight on it, I didn't want to wait any longer as I hadn't fed him since he was in blue, he was definitely hungry! ...Thanks
