How long to shed?

Right ok thanks for that, it's my first royal and will be his first shed, I would prefer to not feed him until he has shed, I just thought he would have shed by now . He has become a little bit more active the last couple of days, having a little roam around and sticking his head out of hide, as opposed to last week where he was tucked away and didn't move for a week. He seems almost back to normal but hasn't shed! I'm trying not to handle him but I really want to spot clean in his hide but that would mean moving him? He has had a few of those white looking poops?? But no proper poop since I've had him? Which is around 6weeks..... Thanks

If you need to spot clean you can do so. Those white poop looking things are called urates, lol. I am sure once he sheds he will leave you a present of the brown type. He sounds like he is doing very well.
