Generally if a prey item is too large, the snake will regurgitate it. When it comes to substrate they will generally regurgitate and spit out as much as they can. I know it's not a major concern for you, but considering I only have the one snake currently I would like to take the best care of him as I can. And I don't particularly want him getting substrate stuck in his throat, especially wet substrate. If you don't have a serious answer, don't comment.
