I used Layne Labs regularly for a long time, then recently caved in to Rodent Pro's advertising blitz about their recent $25 flat rate shipping deal, so i took advantage to save a few bucks. I ordered twice to stock up during that sale, and though not as pristine as Layne's product, I found the feeders from RP to be adequate. Layne's feeders ARE packaged better, (ie; tails are folded in, laid out side to side, etc, etc), and they DO smell better than RP's, but my snakes take RP's rodents with no refusals. From the looks of the photos on the previous page I should look into Big Cheese; hopefully their $29 flat rate shipping deal will last a while longer. I liked the looks of their packaging job, thanks for posting the photo.
With the price of frozen feeders nowadays, any chance to save a buck or two is welcomed, so I watch for sales and stock up when I can. Rodent Pro's rodents are passable, just not quite as clean and not as carefully packaged, but my snakes don't seem to mind and I saved a few bucks.....win, win.
