The train left the station on reasonable advice one post and nine pages ago. Maybe it's someone who felt they got a bad shake on this form, not like that could happen......

What drama? This post was completely drama free, but now you have decided to accuse me of trolling, again. You are right, who does pick a python forum to troll? If I wanted to do that, I could cause a whole lot more drama, any of you guys could, really.

Didn't say you were trolling, just said that it didn't make a huge difference whether or not you were since you've gotten reasonable advice

What does commenting with something non-substantive and insulting say about you? Maybe it was easier to start a new thread, rather than weed through the criticism that exists in her other posts.

Pete and Repeat were in a boat.

    Pete fell out.

    Who was left?

    Re: Setup?

Some of the following (important) questions have been asked several times without a specific response, so I'd really appreciate it if you could just answer the following things:

What model analog temp/humidity gauge are you using?
Where do you place it to measure your temps? (Is it attached to the wall? On the floor?)
Do you measure both temperatures simultaneously or one at a time?
Can your snake access both hot and cool temps within that single hide? (ie. can he get his whole body on a 90 deg surface, or his whole body on a cooler surface, within the hide?)

For me personally it's hard to give you any additional constructive advice without getting more specific information such as the above, so thanks in advance.

For sure, I can answer these. Sorry if I haven't answered your questions.

I'm using the zoomed analog combo, I'm not sure of the exact name.

I place it on the ground and wait a few minutes or so to get an accurate temp reading.

I measure temps one at a time. First hot side, then cool side.

No, he does not have a cool hide, as soon as I can I will add one. Right now he just has his hot hide at about 90f. He can access heat inside his hide, but has to come out to cool down. As I said, I will change this.

    Hope this helps

this does not give you a surface temperature. Only what the ambient temperature is right above the surface.
