    Fake Plant Smell?

So, I bought some fake plants from Michaels, cleaned them, and placed them into my BPs enclosure, as well as my BRBs. I washed them thoroughly with hot water a few times. I can't seem to get the smell of Michaels out of the plants. Does anyone else have this problem? And how do you solve it? Michaels drenches their stores with that terrible potpourri smell which engulfs all of their products. It hasn't seemed to affect my snakes in any way though. Thoughts anyone?

Have you tried to leave them outside for a day or two?

I'll have to try that. I probably just should avoid Michaels during the holiday time anyway. That smell gets obnoxious.
