    Bad stuck shed ! PICS

    hey guys,

    i have a spider het ghost shes 4 months old and she has shed several times for me already
    i have never seen a complete shed from her since i kept her in a glass tank for like 2 months and i had a lot of humidity issues
    now i moved her to a rack where i can keep humidity easily
    her last shed was almost complete but the head skin didnt come out i have tried everything to help her remove the stuck shed but its really stuck
    i want to see if you guys have any tricks to help her out
    it looks really bad im worry about her

    Ive seen worse.

    Have you tried moist moss in the hides? It works wonders.

    If not and you don't have any you can place a damp towel or washcloth in the hide or around it until you can pick up some moss.

    Yes i have tried that too but it didnt work i tried to soak it with warm water but when i try to gently take the skin off i cant cus its really stuck

    Don't try to pull it off. I would keep your humidity boosted as if you are going through a shed until all the stuck shed is off. How it is now will not hurt him but trying to pull it off can.

    A couple ideas to help out.

    Put your snake in a sterilite tub with a couple inches of lukewarm water and secure the top. Leave it in there for about 30 minutes. When you take it out let it run through a wet wash cloth several times until the shed gently peels off. (this always works for me)

    Or, get a pillowcase wet and wring it out. Place your snake inside the pillowcase, tie it off, and leave it for about 30 minutes. The shed will usually rub off while it moves around.

    Do i have to get a wet pillow case?

    Try a wet wash cloth. Warm (not hot) water, and put it on your hand, then gently place her head on the cloth.
