At the moment your snake is not anywhere near getting the best husbandry, he is actually in a very dangerous situation. From too low ambient to boiling hot hot spot, and the one picture I saw of his set up he had only one huge hide and a water bowel. Period. Please go back and re read the care sheets available on this forum or get on Amazon and get an ebook on BP's or call a REPTILE SPECIALIST VET. The University's usually have a reptile/exotic vet on staff. These are animals totally dependent on our care and knowledge. They can't jump the fence and run away or hide from cruelty, their environment is entirely our responsibility. Refusing to listen to people far better educated in the hobby/business and purposely putting your animal in the environment you have is cruelty, plain and simple, I don't care how old you are. I saw on another thread you are getting a dimmer, better than nothing, but certainly not the best that you refer to.
