    Changing Hides

I need to get a bigger one for my snake. He's getting to the point where here is very squished inside his little hut. I used wood log hides which he seemed to be perfectly happy with and I never had a problem with that; however, the one I need to get that is a size up is like 30 bucks a piece. Needless to say, I'm going to probably make my own to save the cost. I read the "hides my way" sticky, but I was wondering, do you guys have a method to acclimate the snake to the new hide or do you just remove the old ones and put in the new ones?

I just swapped mine out. They either went right in or gave it a good look over THEN went in. Mine went from log hides to those Exo Terra domes. They love them.
