Inactive Yearling
My snake loves to display herself at night. She comes out and crawls all over her cage and watches us while we hang out on the back porch. However, her sister isn't doing this nearly as much as she used to. We stay up super late most nights and even with little activity she will not come out. She sits in the same spot all day every day until feeding day. Why could this be?

A hiding snake is a happy snake.
If you want a real pet rock get a Blood Python. Mine go days and weeks sometimes where it seems they have not moved. If they didn't huff and puff you might think they were dead.

Re: Inactive Yearling
My Boa is like that. She sits one place for a week at a time, usually burrowed in her substrate with just her head out. It's a game called "spot the snake". Perfect camo

Re: Inactive Yearling
I know my little dude gets super duper shy when he's ready to get nekkid (read: shed, lmao). I like to pretend he's modest.
Aside from what has already been said, that could also be another reason
