    Shadow, the Re-Incarnation of Houdini.

Here is another snake I call my Family, Shadow.

Shadow was the first snake I ever PROPERLY cared for, and thats when I truly begun my snake husbandry. Shadow was always a peculiar snake, with the grin on his face as he hunted mice. Every time I think of shadow chasing after a mouse, I just imagine that grin and it makes me laugh. He is Bi Polar, but enjoys being held. Just when he is inside his tank he brutally tries to kill my hand, which to my knowledge, probably wont happen.

One time, he had a severely bad wound, you could see his inside through a hole in his body, stomach and all. It sounds silly to me at this point, but due to being unable to pay vet costs, I simply put a bandaid on the spot where the hole was. He is alive and well to this day, a year after the hole. The scar is barely visible.

Shadow is, by the very definition, not really a snake. I believe he is Houdini re-incarnated. He has escaped his tank more than 10 times, each while the tank was securely locked down. Just recently he escaped for a full day, was in the most vague spot, he was on the verge of being under my boxspring, which is on the floor entirely, but no completely underneath the bed. Hard to explain.

Other names for Shadow are :

    Lord Shadow
    Houdini
    Bastard Snake
    The great escape

And that is Shadow the kingsnake in a nutshell.

    Thoughts?

I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

"lol" I am not going to waste my time with that ridiculous utterance. Where do bongs even come from? This site is about reptiles, and there are off topic forums you know. If you are going to go off topic instead of talk about Kingsnakes, then go to the appropriate thread.

I don't know what's going on in this group, but there has been a lot a passive aggressive and sarcastic comments to noobs posts. I thought your post was humorous and enjoyed the visuals that came to mind. Curious tho...how did he get the wound?

The "ridiculous utterance" is in response to the ridiculous utterance that is your original post.

Finally someone who is not an idiot, thank you for seeing the true quality of this post. I was merely trying to convey my kingsnakes situation in a way which seemed entertaining, because it is the truth, he has escaped multiple times, and yes, the wound healed successfully. And also, I wont reply to that thing, not worth my time, I will just ignore it xD

Shadow ate a rat pup just a few moments ago, good feeder, great strikes.

...this guy. Resorting to name calling, classy. So we're idiot's for thinking your incoherent rambling isn't funny. With multiple escapes like that I'd say its alot more likely your set up and husbandry is subpar than your snake being Houdini like.
