Snakes should have (at least) 3 names - the proper name for record-keeping (William S Burrows), nickname based on personality or looks (Sneak), and term of affection (Little Buddy).
From your list, Raiden is a good choice.
Nova is often a girl's name, like Nova Rockafeller or the woman in Planet Of the Apes
